excellent stay but watch for restaurant reservations

The swim-up bar was a highlight, allowing us to relax with drinks without leaving the pool. The friendly staff went above and beyond to assist us, especially with transportation around the property due to my crutches. We also enjoyed the stunning garden view from our suite, making our mornings peaceful.

The hibachi restaurant required reservations, which we struggled to secure during our stay.

great base for downtown strolls and nearby attractions

the hotel's location really allowed me to enjoy some amazing walks, like visiting the lighthouse at san jose del cabo which is only about a 15-minute walk away, and the marina just under 2 km away, where I loved exploring local shops and dining options.

During our stay, we felt truly pampered with the attentive drink service by the swim-up bar. The romantic atmosphere made our getaway even more special. The spa offered top-tier services, which were incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The beach bar with swings was a fun, unique feature we loved! Our room was beautiful and well-kept, enhancing the luxurious experience.

my stay at secrets was fantastic! the room was spacious with a jetted tub and a comfy bed. the beachside bar was a great place to relax, and the activities staff were super friendly and made our time more enjoyable. the secrets spa provided a wonderful escape with top-notch treatment options.

Beautiful swimout suite.

I had a great time at the swimout junior suite. it was so relaxing to unwind right by the pool! A special shoutout to the dining at El Patio. the Mexican food there was simply delightful! However, the beach was a bit of a letdown with the dangerous waves.

The room was clean and comfy with a nice ocean view. The sliding glass patio door didn’t lock, which was a little sketchy. Housekeeping did a great job keeping everything tidy, but the lack of privacy with all the maintenance going on outside was a bummer. Overall, it felt like a solid spot to unwind, especially with the comfy beds.

The gardens are stunning, and the pools offer great spots to relax. We enjoyed whale watching right from our beach, which was a magical experience for the whole family. The breakfast buffet was our favorite daily treat.

My children wished for a kid-friendly area or activities.

Had an amazing group vacation with friends! The staff were incredibly friendly, and we enjoyed leisurely walks along the beautiful, unspoiled Pacific Coast beach. The quality of the food was decent, and we had a great time visiting Cabo San Lucas for its lively nightlife and whale watching. Definitely a chill spot for adults looking for a romantic atmosphere.

We did have issues with the services at some restaurants. While the food quality was good, the service often fell short, which could be frustrating. It seemed to be inconsistent, especially during busy hours.

The resort offers stunning views with beautifully maintained grounds, and the service is attentive, with staff who recognize and address guests by name. The Preferred Club provides a luxurious experience, including access to an indoor and outdoor jacuzzi, and the culinary offerings are both diverse and delicious, particularly at the buffet and themed restaurants. Entertainment options are engaging, making for memorable evenings.
